I spent many years fighting this particular temptation, often to losing results. A couple of years ago I read about cleanhotels.com and booked a room through their service. It was easy to do, and when I arrived at the hotel, no porn! It's really frustrating that so many large chain hotels are contributing to this crippling problem of pornography. It can destroy your life.

If that many pastors are struggling with porn, what other secret sins are going on while they are away or at home? Wish there were a "drug test" the church could do, to remove them from the pulpit, since they don't have enough fear of the Lord to do so themselves!

 

In the Red Letter sections of the Bible is that where Jesus is speaking or where Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John write about Jesus speaking? Why should I trust Luke (who was not an eye witness of the resurrected, glorified Jesus) more then I would his missionary traveling companion, the Apostle Paul who was an eyewitness of the resurrected Lord?

The Apostle Peter tells us that the Spirit of Christ was working through the Old Testament prophets and the Spirit of Christ was also working through the writers of the New. It should all be red lettered if we are going to say that the words of Jesus are to be in red. Remember 2 Tim 3:16? All means all.

 

I agree with Mr. Callahan regarding the inspiration of scripture. In truth, the entire Bible is the Word of God. Christ Himself being the word, is the speaker and mouthpiece for God, and as such, has been the revealer to God's chosen prophets in both Testaments. It is always Him speaking.
