ANSWERS
1)      A: The Tigris River runs through Baghdad. It is about 1,150 miles (1,800 km) long. The name "Tigris" comes from Old Persian and translates as "the fast one.”

2)      C: The Israelites were told not to eat rabbit. See Deut. 14:3-8, in which God gives guidelines about which animals to eat.

3)       B: Jay Berwanger was the top selection in the first-ever NFL draft (1936). Originally drafted by Philadelphia, his rights were sold to Bears coach George Halas. But his asking price of $25,000 for two seasons was too high, and he never signed a contract—instead taking a job as a foam-rubber salesman. He died of lung cancer in 2002.
